In 2007, Ariya became the youngest player to qualify for an LPGA event (Honda LPGA Thailand) at the age of 11 years 11 months old, breaking Michelle Wie record set in 2002. She finished tied for 51th at 9 over in '07 and continued to play this event between 2010 and 2012. She finished 2 under 30th place in '10, 3 under tied for 8th in '11 and 7 under tied for 12th last year.
